Instrumenting Events with Amplitude Data and the Ampli CLI

This video introduces how to use the Amplitude Data web interface with the Ampli command line app to instrument your product's Tracking Plan. Ampli CLI is a core part of the Amplitude Data developer experience with the focus of making analytics instrumentation painless and accurate. This video is a supplement to the Amplitude Data developer documentation. By the end of this video you will be able to:

• Use basic Ampli CLI commands to auto-generate an Ampli SDK for your product
• Understand how Ampli SDK enables accurate instrumentation
• Instrument a new event in your codebase and validate your instrumentation
• Correct duplicate events in your Tracking Plan through transformation (only currently available with the paid Govern add-on).
